We have created and applied a field security scheme to a project. In the Field security scheme, we are allowing access to one particular custom field to admin users and denying access to all other users. While searching for issues through Issue Navigator, Field security plugin hides that customfield for all users and visible for admin users. So far it is correct. But when we export the query result to a excel sheet, the custom field column is visible without values.
We have a strong requirement to hide the column as per Field Security scheme. The columns are visible on Export to Printable, Excel, on column selection and Bulk Edit. I understand that on purchase of commercial license, I would be entitled to the source code. Will I be able to meet my requirement by modifying the source? If yes, I would like to buy the commercial license and modify the source code to hide the column as per Field Security Scheme on export to any file format.
