Issue with JFS - Field Missing

I'm having an issue with a field not showing up and I believe it's an issue with JFS or how I've configured JFS. When I remove the field security scheme from my project, the field shows up. Additionally, the field checker for JIRA confirms that the field should be present.

Here's what I'm trying to accomplish: Anyone can see a field called "Stakeholder Escalation" but only people in a particular group may change the value. I thought I had it configured correctly but it appears that I may not.

Can you help me determine the cause of this issue? I can provide additional details if needed. It doesn't look like I can upload pictures so I've put them on imgur here: http://imgur.com/a/4UCEe

Hi chasb,

just in case this is still an issue or someone reads along with the same problem - I had it also, just minutes ago :) :
It is crucial in which order the JFS rule is set up. Going from top to bottom, the first condition in a rule that matches will be taken.

In your example, the first condition is the one that deals with "Everyone". "Everyone" matches always, so this condition will be taken and any condition in the rule that follows will be ignored.

So in general, put "Everyone" as the last condition and order the conditions so that the most specific ones are on top and the most general ones are at the bottom. Of course, exceptions of this rule of thumb might apply.
